Video Upload Instructions for Authors

RD Mobile is the virtual event platform for the IEEE COMPSAC 2023 conference.

If you are a presenter a pre-recorded video presentation is required.

All pre-recorded presentations must be uploaded on or before 23 May 2023. LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The upload tool will be disabled on 24 May.

Video Requirements

All videos must be in MPEG-4 format (.mp4) ideally at 1920×1080 resolution.

Naming: All files must be named using the following format: paperID-first author authorLastName.mp4 Example: 431-smith.mp4

Video Upload Instructions

To submit your MP4 file and metadata, you will need to log in or create an account:

The following metadata is required for video submissions:

Video Title – must match the accepted paper title exactly

List of Speakers – author list

Description – short abstract for use in digital library

Keywords – optional, but recommended

Transcript file – optional, future functionality
Leave the Session field blank.

NOTE: You must digitally sign the release form to enable the Upload File button.

Recording Your Video

You can use any software application you wish to record your MP4 video Some available options include:

Zoom – Recording Presentations with Zoom (PDF) | (Video version .mp4)
Screencast-o-matic
OBS Studio

Verification

To encode/re-encode your video in the right format, you can use the free Handbrake
To check that your video is in the right format, you can use the free software MediaInfo

After recording your talk, please rewatch it to ensure that the video and audio are recorded correctly. It’s a good idea to do a short test recording first to verify that your settings are correct before investing the time to do the full presentation.
