COMPSAC 2026 is hosted at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos (ETSI Caminos), part of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Founded in 1802, ETSI Caminos is one of Spain’s oldest and most prestigious engineering schools, recognized internationally for its contributions to engineering, technology, and scientific research. Located in Madrid’s Ciudad Universitaria district, the venue offers modern conference facilities in an academic setting that reflects more than two centuries of innovation, scholarship, and professional excellence. Monday Evening: COMPSAC Welcome Reception

The COMPSAC 2026 Welcome Reception will be held on Monday, July 6, beginning at 8:00 PM at the beautiful Pabellón de los Jardines de Cecilio Rodríguez, located within Madrid’s historic Retiro Park. This elegant venue, surrounded by landscaped gardens, fountains, and peacocks, provides a uniquely Madrid setting in which to begin the conference week.

The reception offers attendees an opportunity to reconnect with colleagues, meet new members of the COMPSAC community, and enjoy an evening of conversation and networking in a relaxed atmosphere. We invite all conference participants to join us as we celebrate the opening of COMPSAC 2026 and welcome researchers, practitioners, educators, and students from around the world to Madrid.

Wednesday Evening: COMPSAC Conference Banquet

Join fellow COMPSAC 2026 attendees for an unforgettable evening at the conference banquet, to be held on Wednesday July 8, 2026, at the renowned La Masía de José Luis, one of Madrid’s premier event venues. Transportation buses will leave the conference venue at 7pm.

Nestled within the historic Casa de Campo park in the heart of Madrid, La Masía de José Luis combines elegant Mediterranean-inspired architecture, beautiful gardens and terraces, and exceptional Spanish hospitality. The venue is widely recognized for its refined atmosphere, outstanding cuisine, and welcoming spaces designed to foster meaningful conversation and memorable experiences.

[July 5, 2026]: A number of changes have been made to the technical program. Please see the online web schedule for the most recent version, including: 

  1. Dejan Milojicic keynote has been moved to Tuesday at 12:30 PM in Auditorium (Salón de Actos).
  2. Sheikh Iqbal Ahamed will give the Friday keynote on the Future of Compliance, 11:00 – 12:30 in the Auditorium (Salón de Actos).
  3. The HKN Induction Ceremony is scheduled for 12:45 PM on Wednesday in the Auditorium (Salón de Actos).
  4. All participants at COMPSAC 2026 are welcome to join the COMPSAC 2027 planning meeting on Thursday at 12:30 in the Auditorium (Salón de Actos).

[June 29, 2026]: A typo in the first pdf program listed the COMPSAC banquet on Thursday. The correct conference banquet date and time is Wednesday July 8 at 8pm! Buses will depart from the conference venue starting at 7pm. We apologize for any confusion.

[July 24, 2025]: COMPSAC 2025: Harnessing the Power of Intelligent Systems: Shaping the Future was held in Toronto, Canada in July 2025, focusing on research and development of computing technologies for their eventual integration into all aspects of society. Important Information

Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished research and industrial practice reports. Simultaneous submission to other venues is generally prohibited, except under COMPSAC 2026’s JC & CJ program. All submissions must adhere to IEEE Publishing Policies and will be vetted through the IEEE CrossCheck portal.
